Winefront Review, by Mike Bennie:

This wine revels in its cool climate poise, finesse and freshness. It’s a delight. If you like cool climate shiraz (let’s say syrah here), then you should push all your chips in.

High toned perfume marrying red-sour-sweet cherries, whiffs of old spice cupboard, brined black olives and undergrowth. A kind of autumnal, almost pinot noir-esque scent. The palate sits on medium weight well, edgy in raw, red and black berry flavours, shaped with fine, silty tannins that finish the wine in tandem with squeaky, amaro-touched acidity. It’s a wine of sleekness and yet a slightly wild edge. Charisma, drinkability and goodness. Very good.
