2021 Petillant Naturel Blanc
A fizzy blend of fruit from the Central Victorian regions of Seymour and Harcourt.
A svelte Chardonnay from Seymour, meets a skin contact Riesling from Harcourt.
Minimal intervention winemaking, no added sulfur dioxide.
Chardonnay grown in alluvial sands, on the banks of the Goulburn River just outside Seymour. Farmed using organic practices with care by John.
Marsanne grown on sandy granitic loams in the Harcourt Valley. Farmed using sustainable practices by Shannon, Leah, and John. Gently foot crushed and left on skins for 24 hours.
Blended together, and bottled with a touch of residual sugar. Ferment went on to finish in bottle with no additions.
Tastes of: green apples, lemon lime splice icecream, grapefruit peel, sea spray burst!
