2024 Pinot Noir

Perfumed, light, fragrant Pinot Noir, grown on Granite. A lifted Pinot filled with red and blue berries.

Vineyard:
From Faraday, about five mins down the road from our winery in Harcourt. Sandy granitic soils, grown at high elevation, around 475m, on the cool south side of Mt Alexander. A few locals have nicknamed the vineyard site Leanganook - this is the indigenous name for Mt Alexander.
This is probably the coolest site in the Bendigo GI, facing south towards Mt Macedon. This site cops a lot of the cooler south westerly weather patterns, and is a proper cool climate site, making it ideal for Pinot Noir. We are very excited to continue working with the Pinot grown on this granite.

Winemaking:
This one of our last picks of the year, with plenty of hangtime, and time to develop flavour.
